this document informs You about Your rights regarding processing of your personal data collected within the research conducted by students of Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic).

Any information you provide in the student’s research will be treated anonymously and will serve only for research and study purposes.

By actively and voluntarily providing the information asked for by the student, you agree that you were informed about these conditions of processing your personal data and about your rights.

By actively and voluntarily providing the information asked for by the student, you agree with storing and analysing your anonymous personal data for purposes of preparing, defending, and publishing a bachelors or master thesis to be defended at Faculty of Arts, Charles University and to be published in the Theses Repository, which is an obligation given by law. The work presented in the thesis may also be published as a scientific text, such as a paper, book chapter etc.

Only anonymous data will be used, analysed, presented, and published, if need be. No third person will be able to identify you personally.

You have the right to withdraw your consent by e-mail to sociologie@ff.cuni.cz, without this withdrawal affecting lawfulness of data processing before this withdrawal. You have also the right to request an access to your data, their amendment or correction, transfer or deletion, or any restriction of use. You can make any request by e-mail to sociologie@ff.cuni.cz. If you feel your data are processed in conflict with the legal bases of existing laws, you have the right to make a claim to the Office for Personal Data Protection.
